George Gary Mechanical Design (GGMD) was started in 1984 by George Gary. For 40+ years, GGMD has served the inner neighborhoods’ needs, built on a reputation of doing good, honest work at a fair price.

Our Origin and Values
George Gary Mechanical Design has been providing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services since we began in Inman Park in 1980. For more than 40 years, we have worked in the community on installations and repairs and offer helpful advice. Except for a small ad in the Inman Park newsletter in the early years, we have stayed busy all of this time without any other advertising. We have grown our huge client base by word of mouth alone, and we remain very motivated to keep every one of our clients completely satisfied with our service.
We are licensed, insured, and carry workman’s compensation. We will be happy to provide a current certificate of insurance at any time. All of our technicians are articulate, conscientious, and vaccinated. They are skilled and seasoned in their trade and focused on providing our clients with a superior product: thoughtful installations and smart, knowledgeable solutions. We excel with our intelligent and well-planned installations of new equipment and duct designs, as well as repair-oriented and preventative service (rather than unnecessary replacement). We look for the real source of machine issues so we can prevent those problems from recurring.
